Story Art
"Chip and Dean"
For this 20-25 second opening, I had the challenge of quickly establishing the relationship of the two characters, hints of their personality, their overall dynamic with each other, and the main hook of the show.
"The Bad Habits of Unhappy People"
I was asked to create pitch boards of three critical scenes for Chantal Massuh’s award-winning script, “The Bad Habits of Unhappy People”
The first three images detail a traumatic even in Francis’s life, going out for lunch with her father and witnessing his murder.
The next 4 illustrate Francis as an adult with two men, waiting outside the liquor store in preparation for a night bender.
The final two images show a night out on the town in Las Vegas, immediately followed by a somber morning at her father’s grave.

Inktober 2018
While not conventional storyboards, my personal challenge for Inktober in 2018 was to illustrate a cohesive story using only images, while still following the official prompts. The images below detail two young witches, one of whom gets accidentally turned into a chicken, and their journey to undo the mistake.
Graphic Design
KFAM
In 2017, I volunteered at Korean American Family Services (KFAM) and created graphics for their social media platforms, primarily Instagram, each month.
In 2019, I was commissioned by KFAM to design a pamphlet to spread awareness on sexual assault. They requested the use of an appealing short comic featuring gender-less characters casually discussing the subject, in an effort to decrease further stigmatization, without detracting from the serious nature, as well as blank, colored boxes for text.
